I'm having trouble opening hCare Access. Help!

Your browser or a pop-up blocker may be blocking the site. Make sure that your pop-up blocker (if you are using one) is configured to allow https://capital.ns.medcity.net/. If you are using Internet Explorer, make sure that https://capital.ns.medcity.net/ is added to your Trusted Sites:

  1. click "Tools" in the IE taskbar
  2. click "Internet Options"
  3. choose the "Security" tab
  4. choose the "Trusted Sites" zonev
  5. click the "Sites" button
  6. type the address into the "Add" field
  7. click the "Add" button
  8. click "OK"

What is the Single Sign-On Toolbar for?

Your Single Sign-On Toolbar is designed to simplify the log-in process by programming your password information. After the initial set-up, your Single Sign-On Toolbar will automatically sign you in. To find out more information, click here. NEED LINK

Do physicians have access to UpToDate within hCare Access?

Yes. Physicians can access UpToDate by clicking on the UpToDate button on their Launchpad.

Why does my workstation only display in Full-Screen Mode?

hCare Access requires your PC to have Microsoft .Net 3.5 Framework installed. Please call the service desk or consult with your IT Representative to ensure the Microsoft .NET Framework is installed on your PC.
